Hiker cabin – ‘La Cabane’ (2P)

Our simple hiker cabin is ideal for hikers and/or cyclists traveling with light packs. Whether you’re hiking the GR4 or crossing half of Europe on your road bike, with us, sore muscles can take a break. La Cabane can be booked for 1 or 2 people, pets are not allowed.

The cabin is equipped with electric heating, a refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, kettle and two-burner electric stove. You will also find pans, cutlery, crockery and the necessary cups and glasses in the kitchenette. In the sanitary building, located 15 meters from the accommodation and shared with the other campers, you will find a refreshing rain shower with thermostatic faucet as well as toilets and sinks. Our showers are equipped with thermostatic faucets, so you can enjoy a nice hot shower with no time limit. In addition, for a fee there is the possibility of using the general washing machine.

Sleep on our two-person sofa bed, or on the 2-person air mattress we provide. The electric pump is integrated, so inflating is not necessary. Moreover, you will find plenty of power outlets to quietly charge all your equipment during your stay, in addition to yourself. In addition to the table with chairs to further plan your route found at La Cabane, you can also put your legs up outside. You will find at the accommodation a set of patio furniture and at the campsite, among other things, the shared hammocks that we provide free of charge. At night, you can look out on the beautifully lit volcano from your accommodation or the attached terrace.

Camping La Santoire offers several amenities, including an épicerie (small supermarket), bar with terrace, recreation room, direct access to the river. Various outings and places of interest can be found on our website, but there is too many to mention. We are of course always available for extensive advice, both before and during your stay.

Caravan pitch (max 6P)

The caravan pitches are situated on the edge and in the middle of our campsite. Each camping pitch has its own 16 Amp power connection. Our camping pitches consist of a grass surface and are separated by hedges.

Water is available at our service point at the front of the campsite, where gray and black water can also be discharged. Of course, our campers are welcome to use their own sanitary facilities and/or the facilities in our sanitary building.

Back to basics on our cozy tent field, directly on the river; La Santoire! As a real camper, you bring your own tent, make coffee on your camping gas appliance and in the evening you can relax by our large campfire!

For the necessary hygiene, you can visit our heated and illuminated sanitary building, where you can make unlimited use of our toilets 24/7 (no need for toilet paper under your arm) and one of the rain showers with thermostatic taps installed in 2022. Dirty clothes can be washed and dried for a fee and you can do the dishes in our washing room.

or those who value electricity, a limited number of connections on the tent field are available. If you want a little more privacy and be guaranteed your own 16 Amp power supply, book a regular caravan pitch.

Of course you are also welcome in our bar to charge your phone and for a cup of coffee or other drink! In the épicerie (local supermarket) you will find everything you need for your daily maintenance and we will gladly provide you with your national French fishing pass, so that you can cast your rod in the river.

Attention! Double-axle trailers are not allowed on the campsite.

The motorhome pitch is located on the edge of our campsite and offers a spectacular unobstructed view of the volcano, which is illuminated in the evening during the summer season. Each motorhome has its own 16 Amp power connection.

The camper can be parked on our paved (gravel) and leveled pitches, while the rest of the site has a grass floor.

Water is available at our service point in front of the campsite, where gray and black water can also be discharged. Of course, our campers are welcome to use their own sanitary facilities and/or the facilities in our sanitary building.

Mobile home (4P)

Do you like camping, but would you rather sleep on a mattress than on an air mattress? Do you like the atmosphere at a campsite, but would you rather have your own little house? Then come and camp in a mobile home at Camping La Santoire. In our mobile home you have a private bathroom with shower, a separate toilet and two double rooms.

One of the bedrooms has a fixed double bed (1.40 * 2.00), the other has two single beds, which can be placed as a double bed or as two single beds. The mobile homes are electrically heated, both centrally in the living room and in each bedroom separately. The mobile home also has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer, gas stove and all the kitchenware you need.

Every mobile home has its own geyser for the hot water supply. Outside you have a private terrace with garden furniture. The terrace has enough privacy to enjoy your well-deserved holiday.

Chalet Deluxe (4P) extra accessible

In the chalet you will find a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The front door is extra wide and therefore wheelchair accessible. The interior doors are not, but the bathroom has a walk-in shower and is therefore suitable for our guests with reduced mobility.

If there is someone in the travel group with a mobility impairment who does not allow them to use the bathroom independently, it is also possible to use the disabled facility in our sanitary building. This is fully wheelchair accessible and accessible by car. The épicerie, bar and terrace are also fully wheelchair accessible.

The living room is equipped with a sofa, dining table and chairs for four persons and of course the kitchen is fully equipped, including fridge freezer, extractor fan, gas stove and electric oven.

The first bedroom has a double bed (1.40 * 2.00) and bedside tables with storage space, the second bedroom has a bunk bed (0.90 * 2.00). The bathroom has a sink, mirror with LED lighting, toilet and a shower cabin with hand shower and rain shower.

On the terrace, each chalet has its own BBQ, four-person garden furniture and two recliners. Each chalet has its own electric hot water supply of 200L and for safety, each chalet is also equipped with an electronic safe for valuable documents, its own fuse box and smoke detector.

Chalet Deluxe (4P) Pets allowed – Riverside

In the chalet you will find a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Situated on the banks of the river, which you will softly hear flowing whilst closing your eyes. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed, dining table and chairs for four persons and of course the kitchen is fully equipped, including fridge freezer, extractor fan, gas stove and electric oven.

Chalet Deluxe (4P) pet not allowed

In the chalet you will find a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed, dining table and chairs for four persons and of course the kitchen is fully equipped, including fridge freezer, extractor fan, gas stove and electric oven.

The first bedroom has a double bed (1.40 * 2.00) and bedside tables with storage space, the second bedroom has a bunk bed (0.90 * 2.00). The bathroom has a washbasin, mirror with LED lighting, toilet and a shower cabin with hand shower, rain shower and 4 massage jets.

Each chalet has its own BBQ, four-person garden furniture and two relaxing armchairs on the terrace. Each chalet has its own electric hot water supply of 200L and for safety, each chalet is also equipped with an electronic safe for valuable documents, its own fuse box and smoke detector. It is possible to stay in the chalet with 5 people, with the fifth guest spending the night on the sofa bed. If desired, you can indicate this during your booking.
